Transformers Animated TA-33 Rodimus

To call the commander of Team Athenia a prodigy is an understatement. Though his drill sergeant Kup took him for a turbo-revving punk at first, Hot Rod, the young bot who would one day be called Rodimus Prime, distinguished himself during a live-fire exercise by throwing himself in front of a grenade to save his mentor. From there the higher-ups took special interest in him, and he was accepted into the Autobot Academy a full decade before his boot camp peers.

In the Academy he continued to dazzle command, mastering servo-to-servo combat and a wide arrange of weaponry, as well as designing the energy bow that became his signature weapon. Some even began to refer to him as the "chosen one" after seeing him in action, and when he became the youngest Autobot to be assigned his own command, many felt he was on the fast-track to becoming Magnus.

Toy Carnival @ SAM

The Toy Carnival @ SAM was a blast! I manage to sell off close to 60% of my stuff! Table filled with toys inside a church was a sight you dont see everyday!

Leon came looking for me & gave me a surprise gift! Thanx! You shouldnt have!
TF Elita-One:

Alvin sold me this Spawn animated series figure at close to nothing! :)
Tiffany The Amazon:

I found these two missing Playmobil (pre-carnival) while I was packing my stuff, I knew I had them, the question was: which carton box were they in?
3278 Covered Wagon:

Older playmobil sets did not show the contents of the set on the back... they showed beautiful dioramas of what you could achived with the other sets from the same line. It was a child wet dreams. It still has the same effect on me today :)

4603 Halloween Costume:

This guy glows in the dark!

Two post-carnival TFA buys from TFH.
TFA Swindle:

TFA WreckGar:

TFA Waspinator

Waspinator has really nice colours. No mistaken this one for a wasp when in insect form. It still looks very insect like even tho' in robot mode.

Here's Waspinator in "The Fly" mode!

TFA Jetfire & Jetstorm

Don't open the box to avoid disappointment. I cant pin-point if it is bad on the part of the toy or the design of the bots for the animated series...

Robot mode: Jetfire & Jetstorm has a flat piece molded with finger lines as their fist, this same piece forms the nose in jet mode. Jetfire face doesnt match the animated drawings tat well. He looks rather stupid.

Jet mode: "The first flying Autobots"... & what sort of a flying object the design team came up with...? I dont even know what to call it...

Super Jet mode: Super Lame! Reminds me of basketball players chest-ing each other after a slam dunk!

Safeguard mode: Rather small in size even after combining. No taller then Blurr. Safeguard doesn't have a working fist either. It even has all the screws & production serial numbers showing. What used to be the four arms of Jetfire & Jetstorm, now doubles up as some tubes on Safeguard back. They are rather irritating as they don't stay in place.

The free comic book has a rather dull cover, featuring Jetfire & Jetstorm in jet mode flying in a star-lit space... I didn't even bother to read the story. Given a second chance, I would have skipped it!

First Haul of 2009

Some nice stuff tat I was expecting & a surprise buy too!

DID Samurai Oda Nobunaga 織田信長:

My 1st international version of the DID Samurai line. Decided against the Japanese version tis round since I have got enuff of those trunks & flag poles from the first four samurai.

Toy Soldier Weekend Of Heros Nam SF:

Still no idea who is tis Lt Paul Longgrear, I am sure he kicked some ass back in nam to warrant his own action figure. You cant go wrong with TS Nam figures.

TFA Jetstorm + Jetfire = Safeguard:

Nice twin pack with a comic. Too bad it will be ripped open :)

Loose DML 0.5 Cal MGs via BBICN:

Still the best 0.5 Cal around.

& the surprisingly nice
Crazy Owners ninja gal Kunoichi:

So it was hard to pass on it. Makes me wish I have picked up one of the earlier 3 male ninja... well, I can pick up another Kunoichi to make up for it!

Happy Niú (牛) Year!

May you work like a niú, get milk-ed like a niú, & still end up eating grass!
[Niú (牛) = cow, ox, bull. In the Chinese zodiac, the year 2009 is represented by the animal sign 牛]

Officially I have not bought anything for the niú year yet, since I have not paid Simon for this TFA Bluur:

Sleek sport car tat transforms into a skinny robot! Luv the high tech rear wheels. Took me awhile to figure out how to transform it.

I have fix up the playmobil 3997 Three Wise Kings set! Nice!

A World In Turmoil

Utilities fees 20% hike, phone lines rental $10 additional, bus fare continues to increase... & after all the price adjustments, they conveniently make it official: Recession is here!

One would think tat something so big would not have escape the watch eyes of Doctor Strange, Dr Fate, Dr Manhattan or the Vision. If they foresaw it... where was the warning!? Or were they too busy sellin off their own stocks before it gets reduce to nothing?

Could the likes of Reed Richards, Victor von Doom, Oracle, Bruce Wayne, Henry Hank McCoy & Adrian Veidt, some of the world's brainiest brains came up with a better rescue plan?

Does tis crisis makes Bruce Wayne & Tony Stark half-a-billionaire?

Where are the Justice League of America, the Avengers, the Green Lantern corp, the X-Men when the world spins into a vortex of shattered hopes & broken dreams?

Could it been tat super hero powers dont work on financial issues?
Until there's a
Greenback Man, Euro Knight, Super Pounder, Dough Boy or Cash Woman... over the weekend I went & bought toys hoping it will help the economy flow.
