Lights! Camera! Toys!

A friend gave me this softbox awhile back, but never used it due to the lack of the light stand & I didn't know how to put the cone together... Untill this weekend a photographer friend of mine visited me, taught me how to put it up & gave me the missing stand the next day :) Play around with it but was not able to get the flash to sync with my low tech camera :(

Ian Pool: Superheroes

Tot this was worth mentioning...
Toronto based photographer Ian Pool (http://www.ianpool.com) imagines the lives of superheroes if they were average people. In comic books and movies, superheroes are extraordinary people. They save lives and have super powers that allow them to do almost anything. That being said, it may be difficult to imagine what batman would do on a tuesday night, or how the incredible hulk walks his dog. These questions and more are answered in this series of photographs that capture the super human characters, doing completely ordinary things. <designboom>
