Jonah Hex

The recent release of BBK003 Cowboy is clearly inspired by the 2010 Jonah Hex film. Cowboy figure are rare in 1/6, so I order it without hasitation. However I did not have high hopes for it as it comes from an unknown company. To my surprise the final product of this figure is high quality & real value for $. I will let the pictures do the talking...

Jonah Woodson Hex is a western comic book antihero created by writer John Albano & artist Tony DeZuniga. Published by DC Comics in 1977. Hex is a surly and cynical bounty hunter whose face is horribly scarred on the right side. Despite his poor reputation and personality, Hex is bound by a personal code of honor to protect and avenge the innocent. The character is portrayed by Josh Brolin in the 2010 film adaptation of the same name.

In the DC universe, Hex is known as having almost superhuman ability and marksmanship with 19th century weapons, mostly revolvers. After Jonah Hex is transported to the future in Hex, he acquires a pair of Ruger Blackhawk .357 Magnums. He chooses these because they are single action revolvers like he was used to in the Wild West, but he still manages to outshoot everybody armed with more modern weaponry.

All Things Sweet About The Bat

Here are some Batman The Animated series candy containers I have collected over the years.

Whitman's Batman Bust with Light-up Chest:

Clip on the back allows you to fasten it on to your utility belt. The Dark Knight never leaves the cave without one!

Whitman's Assorted Chocolates Mini-Tins:

Notice the two red boxes are un-open since the 1997, anyone wants to have a bite at it?

Whitman's is one of America's largest and oldest brands of boxed chocolates. Whitman's confections have been produced since 1842, originally by Stephen Whitman in Philadelphia and currently by Russell Stover Candies. The Whitman's Sampler, an assortment of boxed chocolates, is still popular. (Source: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Cap Toys Inc. Batman Spin Pop Candy:

I must have gotten this from 7eleven. Just push in a lollipop at the top and push the yellow button and let it do all the work. It will continue to rotate as long as you push the button. I am sure Batman has one of these on his utility belt at all times. A Robin version was also available during The Adventure of Batman & Robin time line.

BTAS Batman vs Mr. Freeze Pocket Punchers

This is a 1995 Milton Bradley Batman vs Mr. Freeze Pocket Punchers. They work just like Rock Em' Sock Em' Robots in that each player depresses a button, causing their figure to punch, & if hit causes the other to figure flips backwards. It looks like a lot fun; provided I took it out of the pack! In addition to this version, there's a Batman vs The Riddler; & a Superman vs Darkseid version too.
