Playmobil Roman
In 2006, Playmobil release their Roman theme line in Germany. I was blown away by the pictures of the gladiators and chariots and the extra large Colosseum. Singapore gets everything playmobil makes 12 to 16 months after they are released in Germany. So it was tortuous waiting for these sets to hit our shores.
Here are some of my Playmobil Roman figures...
Currently, I have the mounted general, battle ram, chariots, gladiators, emperor, Specials, and the beautiful Roman ship. However I have yet to obtain the huge Roman Colosseum, I'm still working on that!
Check out this link for more images of Playmobil Roman gladiators from an old post.

My Vintage Star Wars Figures
Recently I gave all my vintage SW a soapy bath as they were getting all sticky in storage, I left them out to air a bit & had to take a few pictures of them.
Growing up as a child, I only had 4 SW figures. They were New Hope Princes Leia, Luke, Chewbacca & ROTJ Jedi Luke (I still have that same ROTJ Jedi Luke complete till today). While I never had a group of stormtroopers, X-Wing fighter or a AT-AT Walker; but the 4 figures I had provided me countless hours of fun!
Lookin at the pictures now, honestly I don't recall how I ended up with so many of them... I guess I was buying back a SW childhood I never had.
A must have for me: Droopy McCool, Max Rebo and Sy Snootles (aka Max Rebo Band)!

Super7 Star Wars Stormtrooper Super Shogun
Finally in Singapore after 8 months wait, stay tune for more!
Update:
Stormtrooper + Robot = Super Shogun Star Wars Stormtrooper Jumbo Machinder
Super7 wanted to merge what they liked as kids into one (SW + Robots, which is what i like too), & I am glad they did! And everything authentic about the Jumbo Machinder was kept!
The box illustrated with iconic graphics from both Jumbo Machinder & Star Wars franchises. Understanding the true spirit of the original Jumbo, Super7 design the toy in the 70s style!
The Star Wars Stormtrooper Super Shogun stands a whopping 60cm tall (24 inches). Comes with free rotating wheels on the bottom of his feet, & a powerful spring-loaded Rocket Punch firing fist! All trademarks of an authentic Jumbo Machinder!
Utilizing the same techniques implemented by Japanese toy manufacturers in the 1970s, the Super Shogun is constructed from durable, blow-molded polyethylene with a painted vinyl helmet. The figure is articulated at the neck and shoulders.
Every Stormtrooper is individually serial numbered as part of this one time limited edition production run. The legs are filled with Resin to give it weight & makes it stand well. The toy weights in at 3.74kg (8.228lb).
A removable, highly-detailed BlasTech E-11 laser blaster is included. The blaster even features a posable stock that unfolds from below the barrel.
Metallic foil stickers are included for customizing the torso with the character name in English or in Japanese. Again... just like Jumbo Machinder & Shogun Warriors of the past.
The next in the SUPER SHOGUN series… BOBA FETT!
Jumbo Machinder is the name of a series of large-scale plastic robots sold by Bandai's character toy subsidiary, Popy in the 1970s. Although a trademarked brand name, in common usage Jumbo Machinder is often applied to any large-size robot toy roto molded out of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a sturdy plastic also used for shampoo bottles. Jumbo Machinders are generally (but not always) 24" in height. After Popy's success with the Jumbo Machinder series, several other Japanese companies, including Takatoku, Nakajima, and Clover began producing large-size plastic robot toys as well. Several of the Jumbo Machinders were retooled for sale in the USA in the late 1970s as Shogun Warriors - Wikipedia
