An early X'mas gift from Jas. The diving bell is from the new Nautical Expedition line. The toys is so much nicer out of the box! The mechanical arm swing in most directions, twin propeller rotates & spins. It also has metal weights (disguised as floats) to make sure it will sink to the bottom of the ocean. Not recommended for kids who wishes to play with it off the jetty.
I have not gotten myself any kicks for awhile as I still have a few brand new pairs in the store-room, tatz doesn't mean I have to pass on this pair of bling bling! When it comes to kicks, the more the merrier!
The new Toys City CIA Operative should be due soon. However I will not be getting it tho. As beautiful as it is, I found it is a bit pricy for so little parts. Here I post my "poor man's" version of a CIA operative that I been working on for the longest time. Mod Dragunor SVD Crazy Dummy Merrell Sawtooth Boots are amazing!
Have been waiting awhile for the arrival of 4691 Arabian Warrior. I figure it would be a bulk buy & quickly form an Muslim army against my Crusader knights... but it was not meant to be. As it turn out, tis figure was not as nice as it could be.Playmobil utilized the same brown tone too many times over it: flash parts, leather suit on back & the shield. Is there only ONE brown swatch in Playmobil's palette? Even plain black would have achived the contrast need. The brown on his back doesnt actually make him topless, as his sleeves are white. Strange... I did a quick mod by adding black hair & shield to give it a bit of a contrast. I still have to spay his back to white. Added a chain mail head piece to my original Arabian Swordman. With some facial hair he could become Saladin. But for now, the great Saladin's army will have to wait.
While I had Egyptians figures before the Singapore release, I just realize I have never posted them. Guess I was too busy buyin them. As I am out of space for the Pyramid, Sphinx & temple, I was better off just getting the figures loose. The Egyptians figure goes well with the other Middle Eastern figures that I got, so this post is all about the figures that fit into that part of the world.
Pharaohs:
Cleopatra & female servants:
Pharaoh & male servants: Anubis:
My incomplete 4546 Nile Queen that I converted into a snake charmer: There is an original Playmobil snake charmer that I am still seeking.
3997 Three Wise Kings:
4521 Arab Warrior:
4595 Palace Guard:
3932 Fire Wizard & 3841 Dragon's Temple Witch: Tho' both of these are from Playmobil Magic theme, but along with 3835 Prince & Princess, 4594 Magicianwhich I find fits in nicely. And not forgetting the Thieves/Tomb Raiders from my prevoius post. 4685 Masai Warrior (mod): Leopard & zip-braa prings makes tis figure BOOMZ!
3765 Western Windmill: Finally! I tot I was bidding for one tats used & MIB, & I was surprise to received a brand new MIB windmill. The workman figure & his tools are still in the seal bag. Very simple set with just a few pieces, but the end result is very nice.
After missin out on this last year ago from a Suntec toy store (due to high price & yet some one still bouhgt it). So, I turn to the net to score one cheap, after many attemps & I succeeded. Finally after 4 months of surface shipping is finally arrived! Makes me wonder if any one can beat the UK Royal Mail... Many moons I feared it was lost at sea, but I'm glad it made it!
I manage to get this Playmobil 3769 Farmhouse for a very decent price a month back. This set remains me of the 70s TV series Little House On The Prairie.
