The Spanish Armada (Armada Española) is one of the oldest active naval forces in the world with it's roots beginning in the 13th century. The Armada is responsible for notable achievements in world history such as the discovery of America, the first world circumnavigation, and the discovery of a maritime path from the Far East to America (Urdaneta's route).
